Brenda's Picture Brenda Seago
M.L.S., M.A.
Brenda is an Associate Professor and Director of the Computer Based Instruction Lab (CBIL). She has an M.L.S. from the University of Maryland and an M.A. from Virginia Tech. Her responsibilities include the management of CBIL , the 15 Student Educational Workstations throughout MCV Hospitals, and the 14 workstations on the 2nd Floor, Egyptian Building for Foundations of Clinical Medicine. Brenda previously worked as the Head of Outreach Services at the Tompkins-McCaw Library on the Medical College of Virginia Campus of Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA and in the medical libraries at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA, George Washington University in Washington, DC and Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

 

Dan is the Information Technology Analyst for the Computer Based Instruction Lab. He has graduated from the VCU School of Business with a Bachelor Degree in Managerial Information Systems as well as an Associates Degree in Economics, he is currently in pursuit of a MBA and MS in Information Systems dual degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dan is the Network Administrator for CBIL and the primary computer hardware and software technician, as well as the webmaster for the CBIL, FCM and the Curriculum PowerPoint website.


 

Elizabeth is the Educational Coordinator for the Computer Based Instruction Lab (CBIL). She has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Virginia and a M.Ed. in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from Virginia Commonwealth University. Elizabeth previously served as a Personnel Specialist for Intrah, a department of the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and as a Human Resources Specialist for IntraHealth International, Inc., an international non-profit corporation, in Chapel Hill, NC. Her CBIL responsibilities include curriculum support, purchasing, and timekeeping.

 

Laura is the Office Services Specialist for the Computer Based Instruction Lab (CBIL). She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia. Prior to working for CBIL Laura worked as a Lab Assistant for Force Labs and as an Administrative Assistant for ReMax100. Laura provides curriculum as well as administrative support to CBIL.
