The Computer Based Instruction Lab (CBIL) is the primary computer resource facility for
the students of the School of Medicine. CBIL manages a total of 75 computers to support
medical education on the MCV campus:

  • 44 workstations in the CBIL
    Main Lab and CBIL Classroom
    located on the Mezzanine level
    of Medical Sciences Building
  • 9 Student Educational
    Workstations (SEWs) in the Team
    teaching rooms in the MCV
    Hospitals
  • 22 Student Educational
    Workstations (SEWs) in eleven
    Foundations of Clinical Medicine
    (FCM) classrooms on the second
    and third floors of the Egyptian Building
