Beginning
with the graduating class of 2007, the School of Medicine requires its Medical students to have at least one computer and high speed Internet connection.
Below is a listing of computer recommendations for current students' personal computers.
SOM highly encourages medical students to adhere to these recommendations to
ensure that student computers can easily access Web pages, CDs, and DVDs
created for the SOM curriculum.
In addition, SOM has a new wireless network; therefore, these computer requirements will make student PCs compatible with the network.
The computer requirements for the incoming class of 2012 are currently being reviewed. Further information concerning computer requirements and recommendations will be updated by April 2008.
